Recently, autonomous vehicle are a hot topic, and related reports are also common. To achieve autonomous driving in automobiles, the first issue to be addressed is to improve safety. In order to enable cars to drive safely and automatically on the road, it is necessary to equip them with a pair of visually good "eyes" and a smart "brain". And what makes up these 'eyes' are various types of sensors and sensing measurement devices.
For any system with automatic navigation, the primary requirement is automatic positioning. Only by clarifying the current direction and position can we determine the next 'action' to be taken. Therefore, GPS and inertial navigation module are essential for autonomous vehicle. Not only that, autonomous vehicle also put forward higher requirements for this, especially in the accuracy of positioning. Because a small positional error could potentially cause a car on a mountain road to fall off a cliff or collide with a vehicle that should have avoided it.
The DGS680 developed by Huilian Technology is a high-performance GNSS (Beidou+GPS+GLONASS) dual antenna positioning and orientation system. The system can achieve high-precision orientation of dual antennas based on Beidou, GPS, and GLONASS, with an orientation accuracy of less than 0.1 °. The single point positioning accuracy can also reach 1.5m, and combined with the base station, high-precision positioning (2cm) can be achieved. This product integrates inertial sensors to complete integrated navigation and positioning orientation, overcoming the short-term obstruction and signal lock problems of satellite navigation signals, and further providing safety guarantees for autonomous driving.
