The LIS340 series tilt sensor is powered by a wide voltage range of 9-36V and can measure tilt angles within a range of ± 90 °. It has a resolution of up to 0.01 °, high impact resistance of 2000g, good electromagnetic interference resistance, reliability, and stability, low noise, and low temperature drift; It can simultaneously monitor the small vibrations of the vehicle body and the tilt angle of the entire vehicle. Applying it to car anti-theft systems not only expands the monitoring range of the system, but also simplifies the system and improves the reliability of anti-theft system reporting.

Usually, for theft methods such as trailer or whole vehicle handling, if the angle of the vehicle body changes by 5 degrees relative to the initial state, it can be determined that a theft has occurred.
