The IMS670 fiber optic gyroscope north finding inclinometer short section is a new type of digital module for measuring well inclination and azimuth angle, which can be widely used in logging fields such as hydrology, hydropower, coal mining, metallurgy, oil fields, geology, etc. It uses military grade fiber optic gyroscopes as sensitive components internally, which can accurately self locate north. The instrument is not affected by any ferromagnetic interference and is mainly designed for measuring drilling inclination and orientation in magnetic mineral areas and steel pipe drilling pipes. This instrument uses an accelerometer to measure the top angle and a fiber optic gyroscope to determine the orientation. It also provides logging attitude information such as the top angle, azimuth angle, gravity tool face angle, gyroscope tool face angle, etc. It adopts point measurement method and transmits data through RS232 interface. Users only need to configure simple equipment such as power supply and pressure bucket to form a complete inclinometer instrument.
